I bought this when it first came out in 2010. Plus options like ball diff and TRF dampers. But now in 2016 we made a new DT-02/Plastic Fantastic Class for our Nordic Vintage Challenge - and I finally got to use it! :-)

According to our rules I could do only these mods:

-Plastic oil dampers

-540 silver can

I went for a Smokie and the bandit (If you haven't seen the movie - do it!!!) theme by making a 'Buford T. Justice' police car. It has flashing lights and sirens (very loud!). I used Tamiya putty in order to try and make the driver more like the famous officer :-)

The std ESC malfunctioned so I threw in a HW Quicrun, great stuff! I also need to replace the stock servo saver - these always suck big time! I tried to super glue it together, but it doesen't stick to this plastic. The servo saver changes position all the time, making the car very hard to drive...

It won the price for 'Best in show' at NVC#5 in march 2016 :-)

Thx for looking & comments are always welcome!

Mr. Buford T. Justice Best In Show award at NVC#5 Internals - quite packed! You SumBitch! :-)
