I love the profile silhouette of this car that it shares with several of Tamiya's dune buggies from the eighties. But this one has the sharpest, pointiest, lowest front end. I'm so glad they didn't put big shock towers on it.

Sadly I painted it a blue that didn't seem to me to go very well with the yellow shocks and gold wheels. Together with that yellow and orange bumper sticker, it reminded me of that misnomer 'Happy Shopper' that I'm sure many from the UK will also, and perhaps unfortunately, remember only too well.

Some black shocks and Wild One wheels added, and I'm now happy with how it looks. This one is going to be my go-to runner along with my Frog.

mmmm, THAT looks good with white wheels and less decals. I think the blue you chose looks great, but that is me perhaps.

As much as I love the gold wheels and yellow shocks on the Fox, this one actually looks pretty cool. The painted letters on the tires also looks great with the white wheels.

Looks great. You also did a good job painting the driver. Using some black enamel on the shocks' coil springs would make it look even better

Thanks for the comments guys. Crash Cramer, I too like the blue. I just didn't feel it went well with gold, where the darker non-metallic standard blue does. My mistake. Thanks for the tip on the springs mongoose. I might do it, but it's destined to be a basher, so not sure it's worth it. But will um and ahh about it for a bit for sure.
