You don't always see a SF or Thunder Shot complete kit these days. Probably another buggy not overly popular in their day or now... unless you're a collector and want to fill gaps in your 'portfolio'.
But when I saw this one for sale I was a bit surprised to see it completely intact and in good condition. There are not many on TC, but I think that has more to do with their popularity status rather than extreme rarity.

Build one of these with a friend back in the days. Not the most popular Tamiya out there, but I think it was awesome. A great build and really fun to drive. Would love to get my hands on a Sonic Fighter nib or rere.

How cool is that - never thought there was a complete kit of the SF. Anyway mine is waiting for its finish (..needed some parts for finishing my prefered Striker first, now i need another chassis lol) And will it be build or for museum storage? Nice one - i really like the design!

Thanks guys! ECUpparilloT - It will stay as part of the museum mate. For some strange reason I like to stare at these these things in their boxes instead of built. I can only say that as an adult now - as a kid I would not have been able to resist pulling it out of the box and building it!
