This is another body that I bought because although the standard kit version looks a bit ropey I thought it had potential. I bought it in August 2015 then painted it a month later to stockpile for winter. It took me until a few weeks ago to make a start on detailing it. I think the standard livery is a bit dull, and I try and avoid white if possible for lexan bodies as it's never bright enough and also tends to hide the shape of the car.

I did my favorite Jägermeister livery which I think works pretty well except I made things hard for myself by using huge race numbers which didn't leave much room on the doors. Most of the stickers are from the E30 M3 with a few like the numbers and Castrol logos from the Golf24.

I did my usual detail additions, this time trying a few new things like the painted rear light buckets instead of stickers. It would look great except for the holes for the LEDs. I didn't like the standard spoiler so I used this Yokomo item instead, which is a bit more drift than race but I've used a bit of artistic licence on this rather than trying to replicate any real car so that's fine. I normally like to cut out all the vents but this car has so many it would have taken forever. The scoops are not moulded as deep as they should be so I'd have had to do something with them with styrene which is a bit beyond my skills at present.

The chassis is the same TT-02 that I used for my E30 M3s, nothing much to see here!

Beautiful work. I think the guys who build them for Tamiya catalogues and displays will be looking nervously over their shoulders...!!

Adrian, it seems that all cars I have in the pipeline were also in yours. However your results are by far much better. Another great Job. Thanks for being a wonderful source for inspiration.

Thanks again everyone! @scollins, the intercooler is from the Tamiya 54139 Touring Car body Accessory Set, but due to the growth of the RC drift scene there are many other options too.
