Egress 2013 with Full Option Kit. All screws, rods or balls are made from Titanium or Aluminium. With Savöx Servo and TRF tuned motor. Custom decals, Avante 2001 wheels and TGX Carbon shaft :-)
About my CVD Axle: The original Egress CVD fit the FO kit not exactly. The outer turnpoint are at wrong position and the hole for wheel hub are 2mm at wrong place. I make my own with YeahRacing shaft for outer side (#TA01-015BK) and a reduced 70mm Tamiya shaft (DF02/DF03 9805979 ). I need a 62-63mm shaft for have a CVD without modification.
Thanks, I also noticed this problem with the front shafts and I was planning how to resolve. I found a different solution but I'm now further more interested in details of yours. Did you cut the shaft? Did you weld it or what?
Yes i cut the shaft and pressing in a copper tube and paint this flat black. Only pressed not weld or solder. I let my FO Egress stay on shelf. For using its better to solder the tube with shaft together. I am still search for a shaft in the right length (62-63mm between the turnpoints). UPDATE: I MADE MY second custom CVD version with Yokomo 62mm shaft. Only the 2.5mm dogbone need to reduce diameter to 2mm. Look new picture below...
