A few years ago Tamiya USA had a fantastic blowout sale on these TRF 1/8 scale kits for only $99. I scooped up a few as well as some discounted spare parts, and did a build thread in the forum.

Even though this was originally a nitro kit, I converted it to electric with a homemade motor mount and homemade battery mount. A hard crash with the edge of a driveway caused the motor mount to bend, so instead of making another one I just bought one from Monster RC. It's held up great so far.

The shell is a Pro-Line Bulldog for a Mugen truggy; it's painted in Pactra Cobalt Blue and the decals are from a Subaru Impreza WRC car. Pro-Line Desperado wheels and Road Rage tires complete the look.

This is a really fun truggy to drive; it's very balanced and handles the power really well. The suspension soaks up the bumps, and there's plenty of ground clearance. I have a 2100kV motor, 120A 1/8 scale ESC, and two 2S LiPo packs to power the vehicle.

This was a very satisfying build with all the high-end parts, and it's always fun to drive. If you get a chance to build one, I highly recommend it.

Great Job there.
I love these and will build mine one day.
