The F150 was the first Tamiya I owned as a youngster and always wanted another, I now have 3! :)
I've had this for well over 10 years in which time its been in bits in various boxes in the spare room. Rebuilt with new old stock items that I've been picking up over the years, even the ball joint cups and damper rubbers are old stock items! The shell had the standard missing front corner, plus a couple of extra holes in the bed where a Scorcher body clip had been fitted, but otherwise a pretty decent shell under all the black paint. The chassis was pretty rough and the blue paint removal tested my patience quite a bit. The wheels are chromed items purchased many years ago off ebay, possibly via the member Loaded (I think??). I also have a j-man roll bar and front nudge bar that'll probably be fitted if I can bring myself to drill more holes in the body!
Most likely this will spend it's time on the shelf as I have a worse condition shell and more boxes of bits to build a runner.

How it currently stands Nice clean chassis As purchased many years ago Nasty painted chassis! Love these trucks With my unrestored (as it doesnt need it) Ranger -Rolling... -Shiny, shiny..

Yet another bargain!

Great looking truck just as it stands, no need for much more at all, except a cowboy hat wearing driver that is. Those chrome wheels do look great, makes me wish I had pounced on a set when they were available

Cheers fella's, driver to follow at some point!
I still regret not purchashing a set of Awesome Alloys when they were available, but funds were a little low at the time.
