The legend that is the original Mini!

I built this to run occasionally, not realising what a good looking little car the original Mini truly was.
My second real-life car was the Mini saloon.....but mine was white.
I did a few things to this model to give it a more personal feel.
1) The roof is painted from the outside, matt white. And a self adhesive decal of the British Flag has been applied. This is vinyl and will not deteriorate with age. I thought having the flag slightly smaller would show off more of the white roof.
2/ The windscreen is clear, but the remaining windows have been frosted. A good alternative to tinting very dark smoke.
3) The light surrounds have been painted using an airbrush from the outside. The decal crinkles way too easily.
4) Additonal decals have been added
I will be driving this one occasionally. I am looking forward to experiencing the front wheel drive in a model car! :)
Fully ball-raced, as are all my cars (even the shelfies) and with a standard 540 at the moment.
Thanks for looking. ;)
EDIT : Due to my description being too brief and the personal trauma it has caused a member, I would like to point out this is on the M05 Chassis. I apologise to all members to whom this omission may have caused distress.

So what M chassis is this? At least this model wont rust as easily as the real one!😃

Yep, that sure looks good, but you should watch out, the minis and M's get quite addicting.

Run this occasionally?! -no kidding! If there's a kit in Tamiyas offerings that needs to be driven for the pure hell of it and totally enjoyed, then this IS IT! They're cheap as chips with parts aplenty, and nearly define what this hobby/sport is about. Enjoy it mate, you might just find yourself addicted as a good few of us here on TC are.
