I'm very glad to have obtained this Tamiya model at a sensible price, there are many sellers over pricing and over valuing there models and just not excepting what there true value is.
This has gained value in just the last two years and will continue to rise, as long as Tamiya don't decide to release this version again. It does bother me with collectors overpricing there items for sale and seeing them listed for years without selling them! In some ways it makes me think there not actually that interested in selling but more trying to price up the market. In other words time waisters, after years of searching the net these guys stick out a mile and do my best to avoid seeing there items for sale! So it's very refreshing to pay a realistic figure for a model and add it to the collection.

Thanks ladies444, thankfully I know this was originally from a German model shop, one previous Owner... So no X ray machine needed.

Awesome buy. I also managed to pick one up. I got the ball diff and driver whilst they were cheap. The other reason was the purchase of the rerelease of the Bruiser. Had to be done.

Thanks for the comment Igottamiya, does surprise me too how few there are on the site, does any Tamiya club member know just how many of these were released?

I've noticed the same. Makes you wonder who's buying them if they are not on this club. Will you build yours? I'm leaving mine for when I have some time. I'll definitely build my two but I'll always run them carefully.

Hi there Igottamiya,
I would love to assemble, but I would devalue it by half, so I will wait and hopefully pick up a new build bruiser, thinking the chances of finding a new built mountain rider for sale is going to be a very long wait with a load of luck. 🤔
