With Tamiyas 40th years model they hit me twice,
on the one side I never had an Ta02 back in the days, but always admired the Porsche 993.
On the other hand, my first RC Car was a Dickie 935 Turbo in Martini style, tiny bit of thing, but so cool.
So I finally could satisfy my needs for an old 'Turbo' and an Ta02 with big wide rear axle in the end!
More pics to follow, just started the painting of the body after a big masking job. It was clear, that I go for the Jaegermeister design, but not completely boxart to give it my own note.
Hope you like it so far, Br,
Matthias

Painting nearly done, added 2 quick pics.
Very confident with the alternative boxart job.
Will post better pics soon...

Update 10/2020, pic 8-13:
In the meantime I switched to a carbon chassis from maxspeedparts, who shortened his TA02 option chassis to real 230mm wheelbase for me. Fully made the lighting using an Eagle racing light kit, which is mounted to the lower deck. MPX plugs make the connection for the light. Reverse lights, indicators and running lights are fully working, as well as the brake lights, which is my favorite scene while running it. Added a modified cockpit set, that is ending just before the rear body posts. Next project is a new bumper based on the new Lancia TA02 one cut to fit the Porsche.

6 First body check on the chassis. 8 Ball diff needs some gluing for durability... 13 Start of masking 12 First layers of orange 17 Other side. 14 Making progress. 13 Wing and mirrors to finish. 10 15 11 12 11 7

Thank you Estwing,
I searched for a little more than boxart, and wanted something period correct looking.
Really happy, how it came out.

Sorry, didn´t notice your Kind comment in Novembre. It is a big love for me too, as it is my first TA02, and I Always wanted a classic Porsche Turbo. So glad Tamiya rereleased the Body on the TA02SW.
