First entry here on TC. Felt obliged to start with my original 1984 Grasshopper. Has been restored once before, hence the carson wheels and tires. Had a 540 motor once but removed that quickly as I found the chassis (or my driving skills) weren't up to it. Installed the H.P. suspension set back in the days but changed to kyosho dampers during the previous restoration.

Have lots of good memories to this buggy. Hope you like it, please comment.




1 Lots of memories. 1 Box says 5843 (without the 0) 1 Body has seen better days. 1 Showing use after 30+ years, 1 and abuse... 1 My original suspension mod 1 in detail 1 Kyosho shocks to be replaced soon 1 by an original NIP HP suspension set 1 Other goodies to make the restoration complete!

Those Carson Wheel/tire combo's are the best value for money out there imo

Wow, it’s a veteran. The rear shocks remind me of the Samurai from Marui... Is that possible?
Anyway, I like the idea of restoring it, it seems to have deserved it!

I know, it really deserves a full restoration. Meanwhile I got all the parts for it, it's third on my project list for the moment.
