Finished this about a week ago. It was a bit challenging for being my first combo build and took almost 2 months to do. Only worked on it on the weekends due to time restraint. It has its small flaws and by no means perfect but I like the way it turned out.

I've had one of these to build for well over a year. Just can't find the time. You've done a good job there. Well done. You need to get it down to the beach.

Thanks SRB. Been lurking on this site for a while now and decided to join. Been checking out alot of your builds and have to say they are beautiful. Sad to say but no beaches here. Thanks again!

That is fantastic. I love it. Can't say much more really. Some pictures of it on the beach would make it look even more like the real thing. Well done you!

Maybe not perfect to you but looks absolutely stunning according to me. Is there a reason why the wheels in the back ar assembled inside out?
Very nice job on Willy!

Looks really good to me. As for the rear wheel. They are with the wrong side visible. The side that is now visible is supposed to be the inner side. Other said, you have to flip the rims. They are supose to look like this: [Click here]

Oh now I understand. Thanks Cesco for clarifying.

THAT looks really great, perhaps you are a bit more strict than you should be, it is some really great detailing you have done and I would admit to mounting a wheel on backwards too, heck I didn't even get all my bearings in my gearbox on my FAV I finished up last month, only to tear it down in frustration and remedy the issue with a firm smack to my forhead and a loud DOH. Good thing there was no major harm found to have happened.

Thanks. I am glad the tire on backwards was pointed out to me. I have to say it is a bit challenging to flip around. The inner rim is so hard to get out. I imagine your frustration was a bit troubling but we all learn from our mistakes heh!

Looks really really good. I considered building one up like this using the parts available thru Shapeways but the cost freaked me out too much.
