More of a strip tease than a rebuild.

So I spotted this one on ebay and it came in cheaper than I expected. Whoever had it got it from someone who had no idea how to take apart and reassemble one of these jeeps. I then bought a bunch of bits from the UK which I ended up not really needing, as I bought a donor car with a fairly sweet body.
OK so the chassis of the donor gave me bumper and rear Springs, and the body which turned out not as nice as the first cars that had 5 different colors of paint on it.
The three yes three wheels were in perfect condition with soft nasty sticky paint which cleaned right off. The then took two mint front wheels added to the 3 mint ones that came with it and having a spare front I put it on as the spare. Overall it's like new. Even though I may strip and paint it again as I'm not keen on the green I painted it. It's what I had on hand after putting my thumb in the first paint job..... so here it is. If the above makes any sense.

Wow woW and WOW, nice work and I sure hope Willy checks up on that purple guy he flattened in the first pic. I can also say the skull and crossbones are quite ominous looking in your workshop/laboratory. I dig those blue Tamiya tools, making me want to buy them if for nothing other than the color, dangit this hobby gets addicting in all sorts of ways.

Love it! Full-size spare wheel is a great idea - should make it wheelie for even longer too!
