To be honest this was one model from Tamiya that didn't appeal to me when it was first released. I bought another model through a local second hand site and the Pajero was included in the deal originally just for spares. Once I unpacked it the attention to detail in the body just got me completely hooked.

It came to me without electronics but with the original LED's and light unit installed. First thing I added was the stroke extension link on the rear suspension and an axial 55t motor. A modified roofrack (silver lights replace the original black ones) from Hobby King soon followed.

The front C-hubs have been modified to allow for more steering and the rear diff is locked for more traction on demanding surfaces. The Junfac aluminium front bumper and rear skid guard are modified to allow countersunk screws so the screw heads wont catch on anything in the terrain. The Junfac middle skid guard was modified to allow for the extra movement added by the stroke extension link. The underside of the original sideguards are completely smooth so they won't catch on anything either.

It has medium barrel springs front and rear and some 1.55' Mickey Thompson MTZ Baja tires from RC4WD on the original wheels. I added some scale assecories from Tamico to the roofrack, installed a metal stair to the back together with a 'real' spare wheel/tire and put on a red tow eye to the front and rear bumper of the car.

It runs great now and I have the lights connected to a switch from Graupner so they are now working through the third channel of the 2.4 Ghz transmitter. For the moment I'm completely satisfied with its performance and looks.

Hope you all like it! Comments welcome.
