I love the limited edition alternative colour plastics Tamiya comes out with every now and then. I've made it mission to collect as many as I can. I already posted a few of my cars in my showroom before, but here's another alternative colour chassis.

This is my DF03 Dark Impact White Version. I got this as a birthday present to myself last year. The build was pretty quick, but figuring out what paint scheme to go with was a bit more difficult. I got inspired by the 1993 Tamiya Works Top Force that was running white suspension arms back then with a Malboro McLaren inspired body. I went with the McLaren scheme too, but with a slightly more modern touch replacing the plain red for fluorescent red.

I added some custom Tamiya decals on the body and on the wheels to make it a bit more special.

Recently I got the white springset for the car too, but I haven't had time to put them on yet. All I need now is to find some Tamiya 5.0mm (or I'd settle for 4.8mm as well) white ball-ends.

I hope you love it just as much as I do. Enjoy the pictures!

Nice buggy mate! I know that Kyosho do some 4.5mm white ball ends (comes in a pack of 16, part number 92331), but you'd need new balls. Kyosho also do Perfex white receivers and servos.....

Thanks guys. @mark: I made them myself on my vinyl cutter. I might sell a few sets soon.
