This has been quite a challenge so far. Does an M-03 fit under a Lunchbox body?... Well not really. The wheelbase is about 8mm to long and the track is really too wide.
The wheel arch flares to cover the tyres are for a 1/10 scale Nissan 180, cut to fit. It's not really stock enough to be a Dajiban and although it's quite low, it's not low enough to be a drifter. Maybe I've created a tarmac rally Lunchbox.
Next jobs will be to add details to make it look as scale as possible, including cutting the front arches so they could in theory open with the door.
Still plenty to do!
Thanks to kyosho_collector for the showroom entry showing how to convert an M-03 to RWD.

Nice! Looks like a future candidate for a front cover of a car magazine. Love those tires and rims!

Thanks. Dajiban vans usually run Watanabe rims. The Mini Cooper Minilites look pretty similar but they're too big really. Hence the need for the 'drift' flares.

Dude that looks so cool, I don't know what your plans for the flares are, but I am thinking NEON Green to match the stripe when they get painted. I had always thought that Watanabes and Minilites looked very similar, I couldn't tell you the difference, except I imagine that they don't bolt up on the same 1:1 cars for the lug nut configurations. Keep up the good work and I sure hope you can drift it for us, I bet the torque of the RWD m03 will end up drifting whether you want it to or not.

Hmmm, neon green? I was going to go with light blue to match the body but now you've got me thinking.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
