Got this re re about October 2016, only just got around to adding it to my showroom!

I saw it on the 'Bay. It was already fitted with all electrics, esc and a sport tuned motor, with full bearings. It also came with the alloy wheel covers and the body shell was fitted with inner wheel arches and rear parcel shelf! Bonus :-). It had a decent paint job, green and white, but I wanted something a bit different.

I met up with Rad ( sorely missed :-( ) just before Christmas, and he gave me some good ideas for a new paint scheme. I decided to go with a Rothmans theme, so sanded the body shell and ordered some decals from MCI. Once the decals arrived, I added some to the bodyshell, and sent Rad some pictures, he gave me a few pointers, I then put a few more decals on and this is the result, so thanks for your help with this Rad ;-)

While on a family holiday to the Isle of Wight, thought it would be a great idea to give this car its first Beach run:-). I had run it on gravel before, which is how it lost one of its wing mirrors! It was tail happy on gravel, and just as tail happy on sand, but it does kick up some great rooster tails, was having so much fun, forgot to get action shots!!

Couple of action shots now added :-)

All comments, good or bad , always welcome :-)

Alloy wheel covers and Sand Blaster tyres. Motor in rear cage for tail happy fun! 70's Baja Racer feel?? What do you think? As I got it from EBay. Kicking up sand And the other way! Blue sky, blue sea, Rothmans blue.

Great looking bug. It was pretty good looking when you got it but it looks superb now! Well done and even more well done for avoiding painting it box art!

Excellent job! I have to agree, it was already a hot looking baja. But you took it to the next level and made it even hotter looking!

Probably no one with a Porsche likes to hear this but the Rothmans livery does suit this 'Porsche' very well!

Very cool, reminds me of the old TC member Rothmans Racing Team. He had a variety of vehicles done up in the livery. It is a shame that the mirror ripped itself off, but there ought to be someone with one hanging about, or you could simply make it a right hand drive car.... like that would be easy.

@ crash Cramer, thanks buddy . I haven't seen Rothmans Racing Team work, will have to look him up. Yes, your right, I should really fix that mirror, and maybe get a few spares, as I do intend to run this car as much as possible, and as it's very tail happy, I'm sure I will be losing a few more mirrors . Cheers. Paul
