The one and only

This is the daddy of all RC Cars - well in my eyes anyway. It still sits in my shelf, waiting for restoration. As you can see here - it is still with all that dirt from it's last race, some time in the 90's.

Race?!!?? Yes - if you try to race a car that never was made to be raced you either get very frustrated or you will have more fun you could ever imagine!
There was a very steady following back in the days. The Wild Willys were raced basically in stock form. Apart from a light modification of the battery-compartment to accept stick batteries. And electronic-speedos were allowed. The one I used in this one was made by german company 'Schroff & Ritzer' and is so big that it barely fits into the RC-box.

Everything is still in working order. One of the cars I never will sell. Love it!
