Now it hunts alone.
**PLEASE READ THIS** for anyone looking at this model displayed in my showroom and wondering if I will sell it? PLEASE DON’T ASK!!! I get numerous requests from TC members wanting to buy cars displayed in my Tamiyaclub showroom, and to be honest I get very annoyed when people ask to buy something that is clearly NOT FOR SALE!! This car is part of MY COLLECTION and as such I want to KEEP IT!! So please don’t Email on the off chance that I might sell it to you, if I want to sell any of my cars I will put them up for sale in my TRADE ROOM, so look there to see what cars I am prepared to sell otherwise don’t bother asking cos the only answer you will get is NO!!! thanks for reading this disclaimer. Regards wldnas.

I’ve Had Marui Hunters now for quite a while but alas one of them has now gone so I’m left with one, The 1st car I bought from Eric Swe cos he was offering it quite cheap and I kinda fancied owning a Marui Hunter, looking a bit like a Frog from certain angles, the Hunter has an intriguing suspension set up, cross arm internal springs on double wishbones at the front, and Mono-shock through bell crank levers on Swing axle rears, when I got the car it was missing a number of parts and was little more than a rolling chassis, it sat around for a while, until I got a new speed controller and managed to pick up a cheap radio to fit to it.
After a bit of effort I managed to cobble the car back together to a condition that was passable as a runner, However on trying it out my first impressions of the slightly quirky handling was not quite to me liking and I have since voiced my opinion on the matter quite vocally (although some ppl might disagree) the original body that came with the car is Blue and Yellow, But I managed to buy a new body set quite cheaply and painted that one up in the recommended colours of White and orange, by this time I had also accumulated a couple more Marui Hunters with broken Chassis as spares so I could rob them of bits and rebuild my Galaxy-RS.
That done I had quite a few bits left over and nearly enough to make another car, but a needed a chassis cos the other two spares were totally shot, then Stulec suggested I bought his Ninja (see elsewhere) and he decided to throw in all the Marui spares bags he had knocking about, in which was a new chassis, so upon receiving this I set about building a 2nd Hunter using the new chassis with parts from the spare chassis and the original body which was now spare, this resulted in not a totally complete car though, some of the covers where missing as was the speed controller, driver and some of the other parts on it are a bit ropy and in need of replacement, but at the time it was enough of a car to stand on its wheels and look pretty.
Just recently I managed to source the necessary parts to complete the 2nd car but not after I’d swapped over all these new bits with the ones of my #1 car, in the end the 2nd cars was nearly intact, and after fitting New Speedo and Motor, a new front bumper and front suspension set, the car was in a fit state to consider selling, add to that a Photocopied manual and it was ready, I took it along to the 2004 Snetterton spring drive to sell, but instead I ended up doing a straight trade with Dazmeister for a Schumacher Couger 2000 competition car chassis, this was quite a fair exchange and I was happy to hand it over with the knowledge that it’s gone to a good home :)
