1997 Kyosho Renault Laguna BTCC body on a Tamiya FF03.
It's been a while getting to this stage, but has been worth it. Car is fitted with runner wheels and tyres, and it does get run from time to time. Tamiya FF03 chassis with a few hop ups fitted with a very rare Kyosho 1997 Renault Laguna BTCC body.
Have seen many examples of the Laguna body, but they never seem to look right or realistic at all. So I decided to try and make one that does. I also added a cockpit set and will add some optional details like brake discs etc for a bot more realism.

very NICE never knew that Kyosho also made such nice bodies. I think i also have a Laguna like this, but not as nice as yours. Originally i thought that this body was made ny Carson. The FF03 fits this car very well- Excellent choice! Great entry. Good to see more Touring cars coming

Thank you . It is a 200mm wide body so the wheels are +4mm offset to compensate for that. But it is def one of Kyosho's best looking bodies. Carson done their own version of the body which is actually similar to Kyosho's one, but I believe that it was 190mm wide. Carson and Trickbits both also done the 1998 Nescafe Blend 37 optional decal sets too.

The red battery/motor lead looks like an F1 halo !

Nice! I remember this Laguna being launched - people thought the bonnet (hood) central extension with the Renault badge on was 'radical' styling LOL
