Hazard Willy
First build of the year and surprise surprise, it's another Wild Willy 2!
A couple of ebay hop-up sellers use a black WW2 in their photos and I liked the look, so it had to be done. This is a bit of a parts-box special, a mix of used bits, spare bits and a few new parts - plus a few blingy bits to finish it off :-)
It looked a bit plain and boring just in matt black so I added a few bits to try to liven it up. So it has lights (headlights are cobbled together, front spots are Fastrax on a custom bracket, rears are RCModelex 16mm). There's some subtle shading/weathering too.
I made some drivers with the hazard stripes on before, and it seemed right for this. A micro-servo turns his head with the steering. A few extra 'hazard warning' stickers on the bodyshell to try to tie it all in. Then a triple-NOS set up, a few Top Secret documents and an Area 51 parking permit finish it off :D
So here it is - Hazard Willy is born!
Hope you like it,
Cheers,
Rob

Another masterpiece!
Great looking Willy. Question, what did you do for the headlights?

Thanks for the kind comments chaps
The headlights are some spare lenses from a Streetjam grille and some light buckets from a random broken light bar that happened to be about the right size.

Interesting.. I like it! Been thinking about black as a color on a WW myself for years, but never done one so far, as so many of the necessary details I like to do are all in black. Yours don't looks bland though (your models never do), and it would be a cool challenge to do one myself.
