Tamiya Fox

I added this to my original showroom on February 18, 2016.
This is a used original Tamiya Fox (MK1) found on Ebay for a very reasonable $56 USD that came from Albany, NY. I don't have an emotional childhood connection to the Fox but after selling my first one in 2010/2011 to fund the purchase of an original Wild One. I started to regret getting rid of it not to mention feeling a bit silly not having one in my collection since I created the Fox Fanatics SIG back then. Therefore, after some research this one seemed to fit the bill for a low-budget runner I was looking for not to mention prices on used originals are pretty good right now. This is how I received it and it's in good condition overall with only a few minor cracks here and there and years of dust/dirt covering everything. It came with ball bearings all around, a steering servo and receiver which I'll have to test and hopefully can use and I picked up a set of rear Tamiya yellow CVA's from Crash Cramer (thanks buddy!) to complete the stock look. Other then needing a period-correct radio, motor (both of which I have) and a thorough disassembly/cleaning, it should be a straight forward restoration to use as a fun runner.
