Building a Neo Hornet
A while ago, I discovered the Neo Hornet built by Truck Norris and I simply loved the car. I decided to build one myself. In addition to the new body imitating the classic Hornet I wanted to have a driver figure or, if possible, a cockpit that should fit into the small, lengthy chassis of the Neo Fighter.
So here’s the result! I took the head of a Hornet-driver, borrowed the Cockpit of the Avante and fixed it by using two shortened body clips I could pass through the lengthy holes originally destined to hold the plastic box protecting the receiver from dust and humidity. That’s why the receiver had to move to the very front of the car, next to the steering servo. Now, everything is quite densely packed, but it works. The car is still a runner (although I am quite reluctant to leash it.)

Can you add a picture showing the receiver in his new position? Like this car a lot. Good result with the painting of the driver/cockpit.

Hello guys, thank you for vour flattering comments. As to a photo showing the receiver, I cannot upload it right now because I'm on holiday -- down by the seaside but far away from my beloved cars. You can't always get what you want.
