As period-correct as it gets!

Anyway, this is a restored original XR-311, not a reissue.
I did some drybrushing and weathering.
Normally, a XR311 is pretty boring with all that olive drab.....so I had to think of a way to make it look better.
I think I did.

Also the internals are a bit special.
When was the last time you saw Radio Shack rechargeable NiCad batteries?
Or a Orbit radio control system?
If only I knew where I could find my transmitter...

I wonder if I had an Orbit radio around here once upon a time, I am certain postage would kill it. The gas cans sure look like they were epoxied onto the body, great work as always.
