Restoration of a very rare Delta drag-line body
Last summer I did a restoration of a early 70's very rare drag-line body from Delta RC for a fellow hobbyist.
The body was like an egg shell. First I fully packed it with glass-fiber on the inside to make it strong again. Then I had to model the missing parts with putty. The most exciting part was to find the exact orange color which I mixed myself. I only did the parts that were necessary to keep it as original as possible. Enjoy the pics.

Absolutely great job, I can relate to this project as I've used fiberglass to repair both ABS shells and even lexan shells that are rare and discontinued. Really nice job blending the old paint and re-applying the hand painted graphics. Really difficult to do.
