waoh..... Chevy orange is really a fantastic orange...... always thought about orange and tried on a Beetle Body 'BMW - Valencia orange metallic' but it was not shiny enough.
Chevy Orange looks better.
I've been using a 2k primer lately, it sticks much better to plastic than the Tamiya primer. In addition, the plastic does not have to be pretreated. I hate always getting wet sanding and then hope the water-based primer sticks well too. i know in Past, in the 80,s It used to be easier, all paints had solvents and adhered perfectly to all surfaces.
For the color basecoat water-based paints can be used, that does not matter. However, for the clear coat I use again a 2k paint
Nice BBs you have there! I would go retro, and go original. Personally I didn't have any issues with the thickness of the decals once mounted, that ScreenprintDigital printed for me, but you could contact them and ask them to print them on a different material? I only designed all the decals, and gave them the rights to print/sell them - I make nothing from the decals. After seeing your twin BBs, I almost regret selling my second, half built BB a few years ago...
Thanks, Simen That’s an good idea, i will contact them, so i also can get it without precut. The Frontgrill i have already from you
Simen, i send you an email for further Contact Details of Scrennprint Digital.

It needs a crazy design I believe. Look at this one: [Click here] . I would look for pictures in the Baja series in the USA from the 80's. Good luck!

I agree! The orange dose look pretty sweet!
I am also in the process of painting my blazer. Is there a certain type of primer & paint brand to use?
