Team Associated revolutionised the racing side of our hobby back in the early 80's when they released the RC10. I never had one back in the day, but remember seeing them in magazines, and reading about them winning in the hands of drivers like the GOAT (Masami Hirosaka). When AE released their Classic Re-Re I bought a couple kits, and then started looking into RC10's a little more, and found this vintage one relatively cheap. At the time I bought it, I didn't know that it was such an early kit. It wasn't until I started researching the differences between the kits that I identified (with help from some experts on RC10 Talk) that this was one of the early releases by AE. It was in a very ordinary state when I got it, I tried to retain as many of the original parts as I could during the rebuild, painstakingly restoring everything as well as possible. As always, comments are most welcome.

A really good work, I like in particular the idea behind your project with, as final result, a refurbished car with all of its story shown by the parts you maintained.

A kind of wabi-sabi way applied in restoring rc cars.
