Decided a few years ago that I would like to build a Tamiya CR01 chassis, as it seemed very interesting to me. I gathered lots of genuine and aftermarket hop ups which was not that easy as a lot of stuff was not available anymore, and my OCD wouldn't let me have a lot of different brand items on the chassis. I eventually got everything I needed and cracked on with the build. And I must say, a very satisfying kit indeed. Next was the body, I decided to go very scale, which included building an interior which was my first attempt at using styrene card to achieve the result. The front part of the interior is out of a Bruiser, which fitted very well imo.
Ready for the trails 1 Bling Reduced articulation for more trail than crawl Bruiser interior And complete 1 1

I like this one, looks so clean. Must be the only Tamiya I would like to have from that decade.
Kym I'm stuck here with the BIG BEAR. Quarantine kept me from getting paint and wintertime came too early this year with lots of rain and cold weather. I am definitely NOT enjoying the waiting for Springtime (and not being able to go out and get some paint). So the BEAR is sitting in a shelf, all primered and with certain areas covered with tape and purple Maskol

Ah that sucks Erich. I have no doubt that once you get some time, the Bear will look amazing
