After 7 year on the shelf this monster beetle getting an resto
So I had this car for about 7 years now, and it has just been sitting on my shelf.
I'm downsizing my collection a bit and I decided to let this one go. But before I did so I wanted to make it look the best and I wanted to run it, so I mounted the electronics in it and took it for a very short run.
A short run video can be seen here:

Really nice! I think I've decided on getting Mrs a Monste Beetle to mess around with. Looking forward to building one.

A quick question, where did you source that tyre writing? Looks Ace!
bjorklo
I got them from mci. They are ment to be for smaller tires but as you can see it's possible to get them to fit by cutting them apart before applying them to the tire.
Re-Bugged
It must be hard to let go of now it's looking so good.

@Re-Bugged, that is true but knowing I have a nib 2015 version with extras such as the mip gears, and alu gearbox housing, a vintage decalsheet and vintage windows. Since I know I can make another one it's much easier to let it go.
