I purchased this from Jadlam on the 22nd December 2019. What a great end/start to the year! This was a deal online that I couldn't resist.

It'll cost more than the kit for the servo, bearings and inevitable hop ups.

Update 29.04.20
Finished it today. Great fun to put together.
The details include:
Rubber sealed external bearings, metal sheilded internal bearings.
Square RC fast gear set with their hardened 23T pinion (25T in reserve)
Waterproof Gool RC 3950kv sensorless motor & 60amp ESC combo .
TL-01B wide arm conversion
DF03 universals in front
Many Ray dog bones
Low friction king pins
TL Steel suspension shafts
Alu hub carriers
CC01 Alu dampers with the kit springs
25kg waterproof servo
High torque servo saver
Losi 4x75mm turnbuckles
Tamiya turnbuckle for the link

Cosmetically there's a few deviations from box art, moved a few of the stickers about, raised the exhaust pipes up 1cm, no window frames - minor stuff to personalise a bit. First use of Core RC (Schumacher) paint for me specifically their chrome which turned out really nice but it needs backing or it rubs off. Painted the wheel inners black with a chrome lip, I think it's a nice touch. I used longer machine screws for the servo blocks and machine screws with nuts through the blocks and servos in a bid to reduce wobble.

22/07/22 Update
This thing is QUICK for a monster! I've trashed a couple of kit wheels where they aren't designed for the stresses this much speed brings. Really need to get a speedo & do a run, easily the quickest RC I've driven.

What length shocks and what parts for the steering arms?
Looks like a nice stable setup!

Hi Taffer, CC01 alu hop up shocks 55mm iirc & TL01-B arms with Manta Ray dog bones (better later than never)

Great project, any reason to switch arms and dog bones ?

I meant the steering rod lengths? I am doing the conversion to my Hauler (waiting on springs) but for my steering rods I made them myself from threaded rod, just wondered if tamiya sell a 75mm rod ???

Ah I see, well I couldn’t find some from T although I didn’t look too hard as I found some beefy Losi 4x75 turnbuckles that did the job.
