Finally got a chance to get my CC02 out for its first test drive, nothing fancy I just left it stock aside from bearings, 33t Tmiya torque tuned motor and Boom racing wheels with rc4wd tires. brat driver. I may do more details later but I just wanted to try it out after having so many Cc01s, I love it and will be getting more of them for more custom projects as time allows. But overall this is my new favorite Tamiya chassis. Anyway It is super cold here right now so I only went out in the yard and took some basic pictures, I'll try to get some better action pictures when it warms up.

13 Basic mostly stock build 8 I couldn't deal with boring silver so Camel Yellow 8 I really like the way it drives 8 14 6 11 13 11

Great car! Combined with the snow this Camel Yellow looks like Signal Orange. This is the first color I see on that body that I like.

In the pictures the paint looks a lot like the orange colour that’s used in Germany (and probably elsewhere) for municipal vehicles. Great choice, and glad to read the CC-02 is approved one of the most ardent CC-01 fans on here.

Great colour , wheels and tyres. So much better than Gunmetal, driver needs to grow a few inches though

Very nice Seth, I love the color, I do see a lot of G wagons in this color ( Sunset Beam) driving around Orange Country, California

Thanks guys, there are two of these trucks that I know of in the town of Laramie where I live, one one black and one white but otherwise they are super rare in most of Wyoming (except Jackson Hole where all the billionaires live lol)

Here in S. Cali they are every where . Surprisingly, mostly are the G63 AMG versions. I only saw two G65 AMG here which is the ultra rare V12 Bi-Turbo version! Anyways hope to see your review on the CC-02 since you had so many CC-01 and a scale builder , your opinion will be the only one I need to read

I've only driven it maybe 30 minutes and it is very similar the cc01 in character and it sounds the same but this will crawl better out of the box, I don't plan to replace any of my CC01s but I sure like having the option of build IFS or live axles to suit bodies...ironically I think this generation of Gwagon might have gone to IFS (correct me if I'm wrong I don't know much about these trucks) and this body would be better suited to a CC01 but either way I'd love to build one of these cc02s with the Tamiya Land rover body or the Jeep Wrangler or Land Cruiser 40

Yes, the new generation G-wagons has now IFS .
So Tamiya was accurate using the new G body.
Anyway hope to see more your future scale builds. Cheers
