CR-01 with upgrades

Hi All,
Snow on the ground so I figured I'd take some photos of my CR-01. As soon as I sold my stock CR-01 I wanted another one, so a couple of years ago I got hold of an NIB Wrangler kit and went about sourcing hop up parts. I ended up buying parts from all over the world. Some of the parts were de-anodized and polished. The Tires were a must have and they were the hardest to find!

I haven't nearly finished the body yet and am still on the hunt for some GPM or RC Channel metal axles to replace the stock plastic ones. Anyone ????? :)

I chose the color and the wheels as they resemble my Anvil Grey 1:1 Wrangler... although I wish my daily driver looked more like my CR-01.

I was looking through my emails at the parts I'd bought and the amount spent... had to have a sit down afterwards, not sure that I was thinking but we all have that in common don't we! I actually blame Speedy_w_beans after I saw his hopped up Unimog and wanted to buy it. I don't blame him for not selling, it's gorgeous.
