This is my competition runner for The Nordic Vintage Challenge.

I got hold of a Cougar 2000 from Dennis Martinussen in Denmark.

Then a lot of carbon goodies from Fibre-Lyte.

Some new parts from FleaBay. Also got hold of SACS (progressive caster) and front laydown suspension. Will be tested later...

The shell is a Parma Stray Cat, which turned out to fit perfectly.

The shocks are Losi XX.

Paintjob by myself.

Thx for looking and comments are always welcome.

Mate you do have some quality buggies and this is another one! and what a cool paint job and done well! I do wish we still had the sponsorships around like Marlboro and Jps they look so damn good on just about everything!! l am a non smoker too and yeah l get why they are not around now! but just how cool did those themes look on cars! Any scale or series! Real or toy!! (Sorry hobby grade Haha!!) Anyway nice looking buggy and looks just as impressive under the hood, Good luck at the event mate.

Another cool buggy of the vintage era. However- i start wondering if there is a specific reason why you change to Losi Shocks on this one, too? For me, there is no better shocks than original Schumacher but i haven't ever tried Losi Shocks myself to be honest

Thx! As to the shocks I just happen to have a lot of those Losi shocks already. All the springs, pistons etc. And the shocks that came with the Schuey cars were very worn. Plus I don't have any parts or springs for them. So I just do it the easy way

awesome !
I love my Fabiix 2K
I actually raced mine BITD, was a not bad car on lower grip tracks.
I also really appreciate the Buggy King sticker, I still have a couple of those left

Thx mate! Yes I also loved my X-Factory X-6 on loose and bumpy dirt tracks. I was the first one in Norway 'in modern time' to get hold of a mid-motored 2WD. And yes - I always put on oOple stickers on my RC cars as a tribute to the great Jimmy Storey - what a loss! I really miss that guy!

Love your car. I was one of the team drivers for Fabiix and was a fun car to drive.

After reading some reviews of the car I designed and manufactured many decades ago I love seeing the joy and success that people have and still have with it. I went on to design and build full size sports cars..... Take a look at MDB Sports Cars (my initials) use a search engine if needed. Mad Mike Barton
