Kyosho Optima Mid (Turbo)

This is my first Optima Mid restoration.
The starting point was a Turbo Mid chassis. As always, everything was disassembled down to the last screw, thoroughly cleaned and checked. All parts that were no longer perfect were replaced. In addition to various new parts, only the best parts were used for the rebuild.
The originally bronze-colored aluminum chassis had various minor scratches. But since I wanted the look to be as flawless as possible, I decided to deloxify the chassis.
The original wishbones were not acceptable anymore and nowhere to be found for an acceptable price. For this reason, I used new parts from the re release Turbo Optima. The parts fit perfectly.
For the 'Turbo', this Optima is primarily missing the W-5061 drive shafts in the front and the stabilizer set.

Now I know why the Optima Mid series is so popular. The quality of the parts is just excellent. Everything fits perfectly together and does not require any post-processing. I really enjoy this reconstruction.
