TRAXXAS 'VILLAIN IV' MONO HULL
This is my 1/10th scale vintage Traxxas Villain IV that I purchased in the Spring of 2018 from...wait for it...CRAIG'S LIST (not Ebay!) for an incredible $95 USD with no s/h because it was a local find. The seller was very reasonable so we easily negotiated the great purchase price and I was thrilled! It's my first and only vintage Traxxas r/c boat and I have to say the quality is very impressive. It ranks second to only my Graupner boats in terms of fit and finish and is testament to Traxxas. This boat is an accurate scale replica of the 1988 Chaparral Villain IV. It also happens to easily be the best local find and deal I've ever scored given the price and its mint condition. It comes RTR with everything you need and was a bit ahead of it's time given its scale realism particularly the twin surface drives that simulate twin inboard/outboard drives on many 1:1 boats. I tested it once in the summer of 2018 and it ran beautifully with no issues. I need to put the decals on and then it will be finished. Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy.
