During the lockdown, i decided to build as many of the teams as possible from the early F1 kits. This is how it stands so far.

In reality, only the Lotus, Williams and Ligier would have been on the same grid in 1978, the Tyrrell is from 1977 and had been mothballed by the next season.

I have another Tyrrell which is underway, the Ligier has yet to be restored, and there are a few details on the others to sort, but i'm getting there.

Great picture!!
Do you know that Tamiya made decals to transform your Williams into a McLaren or Toleman (Candy sponsoring). I found them in a catalogue from the early 80's ... extremely hard to find those .... Only have seen 1 set in my life (at a collectioner in Belgium)

Hi Kelvinkng,
I been collecting for many years, so its taken me a while. I still have a few more that need restoring, but i will get them all done eventually.
