NIB...lol or are they?
Hi guys with the ease down on lockdown Mad-Bee(Mr Willy)has been at out to a tamiya dealership and is now loading his new NIB kits into his truck!
I bought these mini kits from TC member IBIFTKH thanks Rob! Cute ain't they!! Just a bit of fun and look nice on display!

I get that circumstances have been tough for the last few months, but has anyone noticed how this club seems to be struggling? e.g what's happened to the front page? someone puts 6 posts on at once and you are pushed off the front page in just about one hit and hardly anybody leaves comments anymore? Iol what's happened!! I love being a member of the TC but it seems there is little passion left? worth the £15 a year??
Maybe it's just me l have been a member for a long time and times were good on this club a few years back!
Anyone know of a more active club??

The same right here. You mis out on a lot of posts because they are on the homepage only a few minutes when someone else loads a bunch of cars at once. I was happier with the old system. Nice boxes by the way! Seems to be a parallel between the scale boxes and your real life collection

Yeah pleased l am not the only one mate! It's a shame because it was a good system before and not sure why its changed and seems a lot less involvement by members these days! because the hobby is going strong in general! Never mind l get there is more important things right to worry about right now but a moan is still fine yeah lol!

Yeah you're right about the changes, On the forums it has been discussed and its something that Chris is trying, but I think the consensus is that the 'old way' was better. I too notice the lack of comments now, I think the little 'like' on the pics has replaced members 'need' to comment maybe. I notice when I used to get even simple 'great Job' or 'awesome kit' type comments have been replaced by the little heart? Don't know, just my observations. BTW, great little kit boxes, Rob definitely has some mad skills, all of my Willy's have been painted by him too

Yeah true mate l have seen some fantastic stuff by members get no time on the front page and get missed! Plus some stuff is just getting one or two comments and these guys have worked hard on these projects and kits and its top notch stuff!! Times are hard right now for sure and there is bigger fish and all that! but defo needs looking into to keep the club on the right track!
Agree about that buddy Rob is a Master at what he does! Brilliant skills!

I liked the old system better as well!
It's a pity it's not split into two rows for example..
Top four could display all uploads like it is now, we would be able to differentiate by possibly a coloured border, red perhaps? The rest of the pictures or does would then be like the old system, with a blue border?
So if Joe blogs uploads four pictures, all four take up the red spaces but in the blue boxes his last upload is there with the other three hidden with the indicator, so this wouldn't knock other people's pictures off

@ woomagic Hit the top right menu, Browse then showrooms my friend that will show you the missed posts. But not many do this and that's why some great stuff is getting missed! and Iol don't feel bad mate comments are your choice and sometimes we just don't have time or see anything we like! Its just in general l have seen guys with really special rare stuff on the tamiyaclub and have next to or no comments or interest in their work and it doesn't make sense to me as we are all tamiya and RC enthusiast and in this club for enjoyment. Plus paying for the pleasure of being a member!
Anyway back to it yeah Rob makes these little boxes look so detailed and l had to do a little post on them! They almost look real in the back of my Pumpkin! Thanks buddy.

Love this mate ..... and yeah regards the missing posts some of us old members respect that posting one project at a time is the way to show off the hard work, maybe admin can think of something to sort this out so we don't miss some great work on some great classics. .......
