A60H Hauler.

Finished.
Diff putty arrived so got to work with three pea sized balls of putty per diff.
Everything was already partly assembled over the last few weeks so just some basic assembly left and the electrics to install and test.

The build was done with the following
2WS [2 wheel steering]
Full ball bearings - rubber and metal shielded
18t steel pinion
Normal basic servo installed [Hobbyking 15138]
Silver Sport tuned motor [ the new type one]
Hobbywing 1060 ESC
Ball connectors all around for oil dampers
Brass ball connectors for each end part no. 53969 hex type for central ball connectors

2x sets of Tamiya 53619 CVA oil shocks using kit springs
Built with small limiter on outside with three hole pistons used
Front shocks have largest ride height spacers, middle and rear have medium spacers

Screw pins replaced with steel shafts on inside arms
With 0.5mm shims used on shafts to minimise slack

Tipper tray pistons and hinges sprayed ps-23 gunmetal

Diff putty is presented as a continuous strip so per diff I used 3x 15mm strips, each strip rolled into a ball

The odd thing about the kit is the front bumper and the tipper tray ball connector mounts use 8.1mm length screws when there is no need to! Why Tamiya has done this is a mystery......see picture

UPDATE 22/09/2020
Ran this model a few times now, lots of understeer on tarmac with the diff putty in all three diffs.
Off road though there's good grip for trail running....

UPDATE 28/01/2021
Three new pics, a bit battered now, approx. 10+ hours I leave the mud splats on!

UPDATE 06/06/2021
Moved to projects while I carry out a long arm extension to the truck! TL01B arms, tshot drive shafts, longer steering arms (75mm per side) and longer shocks should complete the conversion...

UPDATE 21/09/2021
Finished installing Agrios shocks with rere monster beetle rear springs, three hole pistons and tamiya yellow oil.
Shock tops on ball connectors a bit tight and shocks overall a touch long, normal cva2's would have been better but will run this and report back

UPDATE 24/09/2021
Test run, disaster.....awful setup, will strip chassis and rebuild diffs with grease instead, ordered smaller shock bodies and softer springs...start again!
