Bought off eBay after 10 years of trying to find a decent example. Completely cleaned and renovated with new parts replacing warn. Repro-shell and decals from Team Bluegroove. The original tyres are good, just a bit of cracking on one.
the more i see these the more i like them i have one but incomplete i need to start searching through ebay if i'm going to get to this standard because this is just awesome !
Cheers guys. They are a great car in my view and yes the 1979 Ridley Scott classic Alien movie was clearly the inspiration for the shell. The clear lexan canopy is sprayed with Tamiya PS-31 'Smoke' to create the effect. You need to have a warm day and spray multiple thin coats or its a nightmare to use !
