The Dream Durga
I'm very much a died hard Tamiya 101 fan, and nothing much in the newer range has really captured my attention (except maybe the CR-01.)
But the big exception to this was the Durga. I dunno what it is about it, but I've just always loved it. Sadly, they have become unicorn poo and are extremely difficult to find for a sensible price. So when I saw one on sale recently I had to grab it. As the shipping rate was the same if I added more items it seemed rude not to, so a few key hop-ups found their way into the basket as well.
Unfortunately, this proved to be the beginning of as very slippery slope, as over the next couple of months more and more hop ups found their way through the front door. Eventually though, it got built, and I'm tickled Tamiya blue with how it turned out :)

alloy pulley for one way

Update: Jan 2023.
After telling myself I wouldn't get the alloy caster blocks and rear hub carriers, well, I did. I've also fitted a set of DB-01RR white dish hex wheels and the associated alloy drive hexes. Oh, and some C spec tyres. And a two way centre slipper clutch.
I've got one last thing for it that I'm waiting to arrive, then I think I can put a pin in this call it done......

Very sweet Durga you got there love the paint combo. I think it’s one of the best looking modern day buggy Tamiya made. Hopefully I’ll own one someday. I’m sure I’ll be in the same boat having hop-up parts mysteriously arriving at the door weekly lol

Excellent car and tuning!
Re-Bugged
Expertly executed as always. Nice to see the backdrop cushions are still consistent with the photo shot as well
