Thunder Tiger TA02 Nitro Conversion Kit (in all but brand name)
I found this recently on a Japanese auction site. It looks like it's the Thunder Tiger TA02 gas conversion kit (I used to have one, and currently have the full kit version, both in my showroom), but sold by a different brand. I just thought it was an interesting find - I didn't buy it, just adding it to my showroom under the 'extra info' category, as a curiosity. It sold mid July for 30,000 yen, which I thought was a very high price!

Neat find! There's so many of these obscure releases that it seems like you'd never run out of 'must haves' to complete just about any collection. It's wild how often I see things that I had no idea they even existed. Even at ¥30,000 it must have been tough to let this one go

BTW -- I noticed that the kit is marked as 'made in Taiwan'. Wasn't Thunder Tiger based there as well? The kerning doesn't look very Japanese to me, so I wouldn't be surprised if the the entire thing was produced and sold out of Taiwan as a white label item.

it is a perfect clone of the Thunder Tiger version,
and a great find because it must be even rarer than the Thunder Tiger.
