Hello all- I have been buried with all other things lately but made time to finish a project that has been in my head since this VW bodyset became available--This is based on a Tamiya M02L chassis. I still need to add some more details here and there and shut lines(gaps) for the rear engine panel, etc. At one point I considered wilder graphics for the paint job but decided to keep it simple. Behold the slammed VW Bus-Camino!!!!!! scollins

Rear wheel drive as it should be! Lovely job on the body modifications and great to see Mario driving a delivery van. This metallic purple is one great colour by Tamiya.

That´s very cool. Did you use the HPI Vintage wheels and tyres in 1.9 instead of M-chassis wheels in 1.55?

@Steffen- yes- I used HPI vintage rims, also used extra wide drive axles and thicker hex hubs in the rear to push the rear rims out even wider- sorry not sure of the Tamiya part number(s)
