Super chuffed today to receive this Datsun 280 ZX RM Mk02 in the post from a super chap called Ed who has said he will create a Tamiyaclub showroom for himself to show his past and present work this one included. Look forward to that.
He has achieved a lovely paint job here back in about 2007 he tells me and I'm delighted to add it to my set of RM cars.
Chassis needs a few parts to finish it - this car could be hopped up to the Can Am Lola spec back when they were released with a dif, upgraded motor and MSC. This one has had some NIP parts fitted and came with a manual which was FAB.

Jut love the Can Am Lola - the Datsun has been said to be the poor mans version because of all the parts not on the chassis compared to the Can Am but think having seen it in person now, with such a nice paint job, that the Datsun is just stunning also.
