Life is good when you get returns on investments. You then get to splash out every once in a while ~ you get to be the goofy little boy in a candy store just buying everything your hearts desire. Another one of the 'Must have's' that I wanted so bad as a kid but couldn't afford it. All those times I would watch neighbor kids with their Tamiya's racing these up and down the streets ~ the longing of wanting something you could never have and 40+ years later along comes 5. Will keep most as NIB whilst the rest will probably build.

@Klausen, I couldn't agree more.
@ MAD-DEE, Nope, none of those lol... As per the description up top, this is 40+ years in the making, saving and committing money into a pot and letting it sit for 20yrs.
@hedge, You mussta had a good reason at the time, you make the best decision could then back then, it's done ~ moving forward, I'll keep a couple of these stashed somewhere for you and when the time is right, you could but these off me - Maybe, If you're itch for them is stronger than ever

Very nice, I totally agree with Klausen!

You have done well! Respect mate. I never seemed to quite get the right run of the green to save but agree its great that we have a 2nd chance to get our hands on these cars again all these years later! I was against the idea of rere cars at the start originally at first but definitely see it different these days!
I can't wait for the rere Ford Ranger??
Enjoy those scorchers mate.
hedge
Ahhh dude just bought one
Merry Christmas and thanks
Stompin Around
What’s better than a Scorcher? Five Scorchers of course! Now that’s buying with the heart lol!
Tamiyastef
Woohoo, Santa came early! Enjoy!
woomagic
Five?!!!!!! I don't even have one! You have five!!!! How is that right?! Lol, I hoping to get one in January.
Dirt-Racer
@Stompin Around, I know right? If you count the amount of years wanting one of these but was always out of reach and then along comes a massive opportunity to acquire these, even you couldn't say no to that? lol.
@Tamiyastef. Santa, good fortune, luck. What ever someone wants to use, yes life has been good to grant me some wishes come true this year and what a roller coaster year it has been, no?
@woomagic, lol... I got lucky okay? I don't know, maybe the planets were aligned in such an awkward & unique manner so that my wishes would come true but what I do know to be true. You never give up on your dreams. Some folks achieve theirs on the spot and some (like me) had to wait XXXX amount of years. But I can empathize with your sentiments, I was in the same mindset when I was new to TC and found myself lost amongst the folks who had these so hard to find models, it was a lot more scarce to find any NIB's of these awesome cars. 1) there were very rare, much more then than now. 2) They were mind blowingly expensive back then ~ the originals still, are. There re-releases offered me a chance. Don't loose hope, you have a far better chance getting one of these in the future than I ever did back then. GL in your quest.
