My friend had one, and he raced it against my Ford Ranger. Offcourse, he lost,
BUT: he kept on driving for 1/2 hour, whilst after 10 minutes the fun with my 1200mHh battery was gone.
Simple retro design. Love it.
Absolutely stunning!!!! Just stunning!
Beautiful resto. I had the sand rover but got the holiday buggy body as well, goes a bit quicker with the optional 540.
Excellent work - if mine turns out half this good I’ll be very happy! Thanks for sharing!
Looks amazing. Did you paint the body?
Very clean HB you got there Koen. Super!
Very nice shiny finish and lovely combo with the silver (metal?) wheels. Stunning restoration.
My first Tamiya. Awesome build.
I’ve got a NIB kit under my bed ready for my retirement.
Thanks guys. the body was painted and then waxed. The wheels are simply painted with MOTIP silver for wheels. The look great.
How on earth did you end up with a mint Holiday Buggy, very rare to see one in such beautiful condition, top work.
@Dirt-540. Pure luck, nothing more.
Beautiful Holiday Buggy. The HB was my first ever RC and I dream of having one again.
Dont be so humble, you made it happen mate
Seeing this nice original HB makes me regret selling mine 10 years ago.
Can I ask if the front tyres came with it or if you sourced them and if so where from... I am currently restoring my 1980's Holiday Buggy that I have owned for the last 28 years and cant find the tyres or front wheels anywhere... I have sourced NOS rears and tyres but desperatly need the fronts. Thank you in advance for any help.
