I've used the GT3 bodyset on a spare TT-02 SWB chassis to create a Hurley Haywood    ‚¬ËœBrumos Racing' 911. Wheels are MST with alloy calipers and Tamiya brake discs (de-chromed and painted). This is the first project where I've used a vinyl plotter/cutter for some of the shapes. Extra decals and details still to be added.

Usually these looks weird with the smallish kit wheels. Really love what you did , totally transform the look , just awesome how it look now. Excellent job, can’t wait when it’s completed.

Thank you! I think the proportions of the GT3 where seriously manipulated in order to get it to fit the chassis! It’s quite odd to work with and a real challenge to get it looking vaguely right!

Its getting more 3D each time, thats a super lush body, reminds me of the BMW E92, smooth minimum lines and lovely flow to it.

Commin' all perfect (knowing you ) As a Porsche lover I never liked the 997 model from Tamiya. Seeing yours changed my mind.

Thank you for your kind words! The Tamiya 997 is an oddly proportioned shell for sure!
