Found a few hours over the holidays to make some progress on this.
Overall the added details will hopefully draw attention from the really amateur paint job, but I learned some lessons for the next one - some hard, some dumb.
I may eventually tear this down when complete and practice sanding and priming before jumping into a NOS body project - those hood petals are the worst to get right.
That said, there are some true professionals on this site that really have their technique down in regard to priming, spraying, sanding, etc. ....maybe with time..and they're a great resource to learn from.
In general I find this kit a really fun build, especially the body.
Lots to do with it and it should be a decent finished product once it's all complete.

3 Will still need touch up and Spray Laquer coat 3 My carpal tunnel really kicks in on the fine lines 1 Next up are the inner fenders and interior 5 The decals distract from bad paint lines... 5 Need to complete the wiring for LED lights 6 4 Found Staedtler Pigment Liners easier than paint 3 4 2

Thanks man, you're always highly complimentary and encouraging! I find the good details distract a bit from the bad ones.
Still needs work and hopefully some final coats of laquer spray when finished will help to blend things together.

That's a nice build, it is a real hard paint job for any non-professional.
Liking your details.. inner arches are always a nice touch..
