So here it is, the beginning of it all for me. In 1978 I was presented with a Tamiya Cheetah for my Christmas present. There was a healthy RC Car racing club in our area of which I attended every week with my Farther to race my Cheetah.

Although this one is not the same car it is an all original XR311, with 25 years of all original (earned in action) patina.
