A friend tipped me about this one being, for sale on a trading site here in Denmark. It came in fairly good condition, with 4 excellent vintage motors, a bunchload of wheels and tires and some spareparts. The body was well used, so I got a repro body from PenguinRC and some decals from MCI. So after a full rebuild, this is how it stands today.

I am really happy with the result, and it has pushed my soft spot for the old Kyoshos even further. They are so nice to work on and just screams quality.

Cool, the car made the transition over on this side? ??.

The kyosho's may be more expensive than the Tamiya's but I believe Kyosho's have always been made with 'racing' in mind? Tamiya are for like bashing and collecting although Tamiya have come into the fray of racing (occasionally? And also at a premium.

I wonder if they would ever do a re-re on these? Would be an awful shame if they stop now ??

Kyosho Europe received another shipment of the 4wd rere’s (Optima, Turbo Optima & Javelin) today. Could be old stock, but it would surprise me if they stopped. Lot of us old nostalgics would run buy them.

I'm sure you've mentioned this in but just in case you haven't the Kyosho Lazer ZX is the 1st to incorporate the 3rd diff because that's almost (if not all) what it is although I would add, it's also a full time front wheel drive with rear wheels assisted to be more concise
You did a good # on this one, well done.
