This was my first WR01 based monster truck project and once Id gave it a test run I knew I had to have another one for some careless thrashing. So I have my WR01 2 project ready for thrashing and I have this one for light running and looking pretty. Originally bought a complete WR01 chassis and when restoring it I realised what good condition it was in. A friend offered me Blackfoot Extreme for cheap so snapped that up and over time I bought a few other tasty parts found on ebay and FB pages. New tires and chrome wheels, bought 2 sets of DT03 CVAs shocks and fitted both the rear pairs using new alloy vertical plates . Fitted a custom LED kit and LED light bar on the cab. Gave the body some window-wipers, window netting, chrome mirrors and exhausts. Also gave it a driver too. Modified the Blackfoot Extreme grill as really dont like the original and added some custom decals along with alloy sticky back on the sills. Put a quick-release battery retainer on it and thats about it really. Thanks for reading...
